Description

A violent clash between supporters of opposing political parties has
yesterday, the eve of the election day and several people including a
serving member of Borno state representative council were severely
injured and damage to properties in Marama town in Hawul L.G.A Borno
state which is located in southern part.
Hon. Usman Mamman Durkwa state commissioner for Poverty Alleviation
and youth empowerment was attacked and beaten to coma, a picture
posted to me has shown the commissioner lying down flat on the ground
and with blood stains on his clothe he was wearing.
He was said to have been rushed to an undisclosed hospital along side
others injured in the attack.
A similar incidence has happened in Gwange II where some supporters
clashed and one vehicle vandalized.
